Here's my interpretation of Cy Twombly's fourth panel, from his quadtych painting 'Hero & Leandro'. You're seeing it painted here in real time, so you can study and/or pinch any ideas you like the look of 🙂

Looks like "Juicy" paint spasms.👀
Very Good
I wish I could afford to use that amount of oil paint 😀 I've only ever seen his work in books.
P.T. Barnum was right.
Pretentious and supremely overrated. The avant-garde is the refuge of the talentless.
Just the narrow minded priggish comment, I'd expect from someone on youtube wearing a tie in his avatar. Go listen to Brahms there's a good fellow, and stay away from water that's too deep for you.
Heroic burnt garlic for abstract parasites
Burnt garlic keeps the parasites at bay
Some very nice effects from paint
Promo sm
Yes expensive just a promo
I feel giddy far too fast
Fuckkkk he's Boring and his work was no better
Very nice. Similar to what the American colour field painter Jules Olitski was doing with his "late work"....
i like how this video is litterally an allegory for "stop overthinking, just start your artwork" :d
Hey is this 😅
A great find, thank you!
So good to see this. For me he was one of the three wonderful British painters that we've lost in recent years, the other two being Alan Davie and Gillian Ayres. Many thanks.
This is amazing. I’m glad I discovered John Hoyland and he work. I watched the doc of him and I decided to view your channel and this is awesome. I’m teaching myself how to do abstract painting. But what do you use? It looks like regular paint cans. Do you use acrylics as well? Keep up the amazing work?
I used Acylics & household emulsion paint.
Brilliant thank you.
*Well done & thank you* !
He's still way ahead of us
Love your work, Monty. 🥰
Cheers Pen 😊
I'm going tomorrow!
Never give up now accolades also its kind of relaxing good good we love it carry the good work🎉
Simple as it may look its very different and not at all easy nice🎉
Good job nice😊
Super hits
Wow...and here I am worrying if my art works are any good....
He's not cursed by self doubt is he 🙂 for the final kick in the teeth you should take a look at what is stuff is going for these days.
Thank you so much for uploading this fabulous film about John Hoyland! He is truly a great master of 20th century British Painting. Where can I get access to The Culture Show, BBC2, Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2009. It contains footages of Hoyland along with Andrew Graham Dickson , I have only seen snippets of it through the 2012 Summer Exhibition Culture Show .
Thank you so much for this! Love to hear John talk about painting!
Miss Uou
I'll be uploading a couple more soon Phil
Thanks for sharing your process Steve
No problem, I was always intrigued watching other peoples videos creating art & thought people might like to see my creative process, whether they like the finished piece or not !!
At 2 mins 9 seconds - did I hear the sound of someone dropping a tambourine?
You seem to know more than I ;)
'You Were Right And I Was Wrong' (musical director Syd Dale) was the b-side of 'What's Good About Goodbye' -- issued 1st June , 1968 on Decca F 12800 . Publisher: Mills/Rowe;.
Very pretty!!!
Killer piece Steve. I really dig the way you use the brighter tones in there with the more muted colors. Creates great depth.
Now that is a workspace that has seen a lot of use :) Love your style. Very bold and unique, tons of energy. Great stuff Steve. 👌😊 -Best of luck on your art and your channel, and much support from one artist to another. -Huge 👍's up!
Cheers Larry, always nice to get encouragement as an artist because we are all wracked with doubt 😊
Thank you for doing this, whilst at exhibition yesterday , I deliberately didn't use my phone, I just wanted to take it all in, (then wished I had taken photos, video). iSo lovely to find your video ,brings it all back to life for me, beautifully filmed by yourself.Wonderful memories , thank you.
What an inspiration, his paintings are magnificent, I love them.
Really weird why this came up... just got in from work and going to continue and hopefully finish an abstract drawing......I don’t look up drawings on yt.... really weird
Synchronicity at work !!!
98. This is one of my favourites. I will try something similar my tomorrow. Inspired by you and others. Thank you for sharing! . New customer here! watch my work. see with my art too. Thank you my friend. I'm already connected to be your friend. ❤️❤️
Aww very touching
The music sounds like Philip Glass' music.
Terrific. Loved John and his work. Would have loved to see this show. Hard to believe he's been gone for a decade.
Really nice piece. Huge, deep color saturation. The reds are so vivid and intense. Awesome texture as well. This has great energy, and character; I dig your style 👌😊 -Best of luck on your art and your channel, and much support from one artist to another. -Huge 👍's up!
Cheers Larry 😊Like a lot of artists I paint mostly what I like myself, so it's always an added bonus when someone else appreciates them too !!
Best roadtrip ever. Changed my life.
That’s so good!
Did you bock me from your comments section or did you tube
I don't censor or block anyone
@@abstract_steve101 Really , well it must of been youtube . I know youtube do block peoples comments without informing the commenter . They use logarithms but my comment didn't use any words that i haven't used before . I said checkout CJ Bjerknes site jewishracism.blogspot.com which i have said many times before without being blocked . I suggest you take a look at Bjerknes research it is extremely interesting and joins up a lot of dots concerning the subversive Zionist Jews .
@@abstract_steve101 You're a little liar aren't you . It's a great shame as i was thinking of donating a large sum to Alan but if he is involved with someone like you then i will have to reconsider .
Where do you think I lied ?
